Youth League

There is established the National Youth Convention (NYC). The National Youth Convention shall consist of i. The Secretary Youth Affairs; ii. All Youth National Leaders; iii. Elected Youth Party Governors, Senators or Members of Parliament; iv. Elected Youth Members of County Assemblies; and, v. Youth members of the County, Constituency and Ward Executive Committees. Membership of the Youth Convention is limited to the age of eighteen to thirty-five (18-35) years. The Secretary Youth League at the National Office in consultation with NEC shall convene and preside over the National Youth Convention. The National Youth Convention shall be convened at least once every year or from time to time as shall be approved by the NEC. <

The National Youth Convention shall mobilize youth to: i. Popularize the party and recruit members; ii. Articulate special interest and needs of youth for incorporation into party policy; iii. Educate and sensitize youth on party policies and the need for their participation in party and national matters; iv. Advise all party organs on matters relating to youth; and, such other roles as may be assigned by the NEC.
