Objective of IUP
IUP is a nationalist, single issue ideology party that forcuses on economic reforms that stands for lean government whose role is to create, supervise and regulate a
conducive environment for businesses to thrive as a solution to massive social problems facing Kenyans, because when a business solves a problem, it makes a profit
which lets the solution grow. However, in respect to Article 43 of the Kenyan constitution:(health, housing, food security, clean and safe water, social security and
education)there will be more regulation and services to be provided to all citizens through Public Private Sector core business integration in line with the
Public Private Partnership Act of 2021..
Objectives:
- To be a national party that promotes the economic upswing of all the people of Kenya;
- To promote principles of inclusivity and diversity, honesty, meritocracy and pragmatism in solving the problems affecting Kenyans within the country and diaspora through a favorable foreign policy.
- Active participation in the political process by nominating and fielding candidates in both national and county government levels
- To promote national cohesion by eliminating economic, tribal, racial and political discrimination, exploitation and oppression via affirmative action programs
- To safeguard and promote the national values, principles and goals enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya and any acts of Parliament
- To research and implement economic, social and political blueprints geared towards modernizing and elevating the living standards of Kenyans
- To admit and actively recruit new members to the Party, whilst encouraging existing members to renew their membership
- To promote diversity of cultures within the Party and to represent the interests of under-represented groups within the country
- To carry out work performance polls for the party elected members. This is a key measure to ensure that the campaign promises are implemented and enhance our candidate chances for electability
- To promote and support devolution as a system of governance in Kenya
- To strive in making Kenyans understand the importance and benefits of East and Central African unity in addition to the role of African Unity and integration and the sovereignty of all African states
- To establish synergy locally, regionally and internationally with organizations whose objectives are similar to Imarisha Uchumi Party
